With the Carbon Footprint module printers, Quote & Print believes users can estimate the Carbon Footprint of individual jobs or of the overall business.
The Carbon Footprint module works by calculating the amount of carbon dioxide emissions, waste, eco-friendly substrates, and energy consumption in each print job, assisting in making decisions about purchasing carbon offsets and managing the forestry chain of custody.
Quote & Print believes its Carbon Footprint module allows local printers to compare their Carbon Footprint performance with estimated figures for overseas printers which have a much higher Carbon Footprint for transport.
The Carbon Footprint Module is able to quote on a job by job basis CO2 Emissions, percentage waste, percentage usage of recycled paper and percentage usage of paper from FSC or PEFC.
